In order to provide top-tier service safety, Bubpha Mekhong Guesthouse (BMG) and the Lasting Laos Project, together with the Faculty of Health Sciences, Champasak University, successfully hosted a 1-day Boat Safety & CPR Training on November 3, 2026, for local boat-service families.
Key Highlights from the Session:
* Finalized Boat Safety Protocols: Reviewed essential pre-departure checks, mandatory life jacket rules, and zero-alcohol policies based on BMG’s Code of Conduct.
* Emergency River Rescue: Hands-on instruction on practical emergency river rescue procedures for local boat operators.
* CPR & First Aid Certification: Interactive practice using training dummies and basic First Aid techniques led by health and safety experts.
