Boupha Community Market Flooded, but Local Vendors Continue Operations by Relocating to Roadside Opposite Boupha Mekong Guesthouse

On August 21, 2026, rising water levels led to flooding across the Boupha Community Market area. Nevertheless, to ensure a continuous supply of daily necessities and food for the local community, vendors have persevered and continue to sell their goods as usual.

During this period, sellers have temporarily relocated their stalls along the roadside directly opposite Boupha Mekong Guesthouse. The temporary market remains lively, with vendors offering fresh vegetables, dry goods, grilled items, and cooked meals. Residents and customers can still visit and support local vendors as normal.
