On 29 October 2025, GLC Director had the opportunity to serve as a translator and contributor during the Workshop on the Lao Microfinance Code of Conduct, which integrates the SPTF–CERISE Client Protection Principles into Sector national framework.
The new Code reflects the sector’s shared values — Transparency, Ethics, Fairness and Respect, Inclusion, and Accountability — and includes measurable indicators agreed by BOL, LMFA, the Bankers’ Association, MFI members, and SPTF–CERISE.
Pamouane, As an SEPM-certified auditor and Client Protection trainer in Laos, I’m proud to support this important milestone. It shows sector collective commitment to responsible, transparent, and client-centered microfinance in Laos.
Together, we are building a stronger and more inclusive financial ecosystem — one that protects clients and promotes trust.
Special thanks to LMFA, SPTF–CERISE, and Luxembourg Aid & Development for co-organizing and supporting this meaningful event
